09 Nov CLOSER GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING (GAM) 2022
Every year, CLOSER Leukemia Consortium meets for a three-day Assembly. In this occasion, each Work Package team can show the outcomes of the last year of the Project and illustrate what the next steps will be.
This year is going to be a special one; since 2019 the working groups report yearly the results of the research and the activities carried out. Due to COVID.19 restrictions it has been possible through an online format for the last two years.
Next week our teams will be able to meet in person in Montevideo (Uruguay) to participate to the live Assembly.
CLOSER is now entering the last year of life (2019 – 2023) so they will all be asked to deliver the last tasks, and what the upcoming deadlines will be.
The three days agenda will be divided into two main blocks: the first one, on November 14th and 15th – the as called preGAM session -, all the work package leaders and their teams will be invited to broadly speak about the advances of their tasks and the collaboration with other working groups. During these first two days, the other partners can intervene and give their advice about the following steps, as well as suggest new approaches for communication and upcoming publications.
Once this phase is finalized, on November 16th, each WP leader will be responsible to illustrate a sum-up of what has been discussed during the preGAM session, according to the respective Work Package.
As already announced in CLOSER Leukemia social media platform, the first edition of the Innovation Contest will be discussed and prepared to be launched before the end of 2022.
